Janie's passion for photography led her to a Bachelor of Contemporary Arts, majoring in photography at the University of Tasmania. Her studio is in the historic township of Longford just outside Launceston in Northern Tasmania. Her studio is solely focussed and committed to the art of wedding photography, so you know you are entrusting a specialist in the field to record the most important day of your life.

Janie is also a member of the Australian Institute of Professional Photography. She is Vice President of the Tasmanian Division & is joint coordinator of the AIPP Canon Australian Professional Photography Awards Travelling Exhibition that tours Australia. The A.I.P.P. promotes and maintains the highest standards of professional competence and business ethics in the industry. By maintaining rigorous entry criteria and a binding code of ethics for members, as well as providing ongoing education via seminars, workshops and events. The A.I.P.P. is a brand of trust in the photographic industry.
